Foundation repair isn’t just about fixing cracks or stabilizing structures — it’s about protecting the people who live, work and build memories inside them. Every beam we brace and every slab we secure is ultimately about serving families, businesses and our broader community. That spirit of service extends beyond the job site because we believe strong communities are built on strong foundations, both literally and figuratively. That’s why we’re proud to support our neighbors in many different ways.

I was raised in a small town in New Mexico, where it was all too common to see families working hard yet still struggling to make ends meet. Growing up in that environment gave me a deep awareness of how many people simply need a little support to get through difficult times.

That perspective has stayed with me. Any time I see someone in need, my instinct is to help in whatever way I can. I often find myself thinking, “What if that were my own family or friend?” and I would hope that someone would be there for them. That sense of empathy continues to guide both my personal values and my professional approach.

Team members like Heather truly embody G.L. Hunt’s company-wide commitment to giving back to the community. We’re proud to partner with Servolution Network to carry out acts of generosity for our local homeowners. Our employee-initiated charitable program, Lifting Lives, also allows us to show how much we care about the communities we serve.
